My name is James Wilson and I have been a fitness professional for over 10 years. In that time I have seen the fitness industry from almost every angle possible. I’ve also learned a very important fact - the advice that you are getting from the fitness industry is actually making it harder for you to drop the fat and sculpt the body of your dreams.

If you have ever been frustrated by a lack of results you are not alone. Take a look around your local gym - how many people that you see would you say are seeing the results they really want? How many people have made a noticeable improvement in their physique in the last 3 months?

Despite spending time and effort in the gym most people are not seeing much in the way of improvements in the way they look and feel. Most people follow the typical "exercise prescription" given by the fitness industry. Take a peak at most people’s programs and you’ll find something along these lines -

1. Long, boring cardio sessions on the treadmill or elliptical three to five days per week

2. Mindless machine circuits doing 3 sets of 8-12 reps over and over again and/ or a body part split routines where you do one or two muscle groups on a given day

3. A bland, restrictive and boring low calorie diet

4. Lot’s of supplements that promise to give you the body you want in a pill or powder


While this may work for some people, I am guessing that since you are still reading this that you are not one of them. You have a headache and someone handed you the allergy medicine - you need something completely different than what you have been trying.

Worse yet, if you have any type of injury concerns (and who doesn’t have something that bothers them) the typical exercise program described above will increase your risk of making that situation worse. Long cardio sessions and too many machine and isolation exercises will wear your joints down in an unnatural way.

Things like machines, pieces of aerobic equipment and supplements generate a ton of revenue for the fitness industry. The manufacturers of this stuff spend a lot of money advertising in order to convince you and everyone else that you can not succeed without them. Since machine, aerobic equipment and supplement manufacturers generate so much cash the money driven fitness industry is in no hurry to let you know about the latest breakthroughs in fat loss training.

The real secret that they don’t want you to know is that not only do you not need machines, aerobics equipment and tons of supplements but that these things will actually hinder your progress. If you did know this then the demand for these things would dry up and the fitness industry would be forced to start producing results instead of hype - and why would it want to start doing that?
